Admission Eligibility-Amazon Institute of Hotel Management Noida

Admission Eligibility notification is issued in the month of December/January and May/June every year in leading national newspapers. The prospectus contains an application form for any one of the courses offered. It can be obtained from the Institute's Inquiry Counter on the payment of a fee/charge in cash, or by post, on the payment through a demand draft drawn in favor of the "AIHM" payable at Noida.

Eligibility for the candidates:

Candidates with 45% scored can apply for Admission Eligibility (General Candidates)
Candidates with 40% scored can apply for Admission Eligibility (OBC/SC/ST/Defense and Girls)
Below 45% for general & 40% for OBC/SC/ST/ Defense and for Girls have to clear the entrance exams to get enrolled in the course. Candidates interested in admission and eligible for the same, must appear in all India written test followed by an interview on the same, organized at different centers. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their rank in the written test & interview on the availability of the seats.

How to Apply:

Duly filled-in application form must be accompanied with

Attested photocopy of proof of age.
Attested photocopy of proof of educational qualification/ mark sheets.
Fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor on the attached form.
One passport size photograph pasted in the space provided on the application form.
Character certificate from the head of the institution (school/college) last attended.
Attested photocopy of Reserved Category Certificate from appropriate authority, if applicable.
A certificate of bonafide domicile of native place, if applicable, + check position in line in both short courses During the interview the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their communication skills with particular reference to the English language, general awareness, personal grooming, the overall personality and the candidate's suitability for the hospitality industry.

Admission Eligibility:

Selection is based on the combined merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination, a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee at the Institute

Selection:

The selection list will be displayed on Notice Board of the Institute on the same or next day of the interview. NO SEPARATE INTIMATION WILL BE SENT TO THE CANDIDATES. Selected candidates are required to pay the first term fees on the day the result is declared. Failing immediate payment of fees, the offer of Admission Eligibility will be withdrawn and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list. The candidate whose Admission Eligibility has thus been cancelled will have no claim whatsoever to Admission Eligibility at a later time.

Hostel fee:

Hostel fee per month Rs. 6000/- (Semester Fee: Rs. 36000/-) 6 month hostel fee should be deposited in advance i.e. Rs 36000/-(1 Year Hostel Accommodation is compulsory), fine Rs.50/- per day will be applicable after the due date. Once hostel allotted to the students then the period will be one year.

Note:

Examination fee does not include in above fee
The fee include enrollment fee, tuition fee, internal exams fee, I D Card fee, student activities, F&B Practical, Food Production Practical, Computer, games & Sports, Development and industrial exposure.
Receipt of all fee paid must be obtained from the office by payee
Fee should be strictly deposited with in the time specified i.e. in the month of 1st working day of each installment.

Examination fee is payable on Semester basis in advance.
Once Fee is Paid, Seat is allotted to the candidate fees will not Refundable in any Case.
